HEALTH AND FITNESS COACHING

 
 

For those of you who haven’t exercised for a while or have health concerns which are driving you to improve your fitness, you can start slowly with guidance and support.


I offer personalised individual coaching , taking a holistic approach which combines Health Coaching and CrossFit fitness principles. Unlike many people’s perception, CrossFit was initially designed as a program for everyone: its goal being that any participant can achieve their best version of health and wellness by adhering to the fundamentals.

In particular it can be scaled and tailored for you no matter what level of fitness you currently are at. For those of you who haven’t exercised for a while or have health concerns which are driving you to improve your fitness, you can start slowly with guidance and support.

Where are the sessions held? The facility at North Brother CrossFit in the magical Camden Haven of New South Wales offers an ideal location for access to equipment and space to get the ball rolling and take your fitness to where ever you wish . It is a gym (AKA a “box” in CrossFit speech) that is welcoming , inclusive and family friendly.

How are these sessions different to a Personal Trainer ? I am a fully certified Health Coach registered with Health Coaches Of Australia and New Zealand Association. Health Coaching is about a holistic approach to your lifestyle goals . In addition I am a CrossFit Trainer (OL-1), Primal Fitness Coach and doctor. These sessions are NOT medical consultations but my medical background allows me to understand your health, biomechanical issues and to communicate in a meaningful way with your health providers .

So in these sessions you are getting much more than just fitness training- you are getting coached on the behaviour changes you want to make to achieve your health and well-being goals.

How Long are the Sessions? Sessions last one hour and are entirely tailored to your goals, abilities, preferences and limitations.

How Many Sessions Do I have to Sign up for? You can do single 1 hr sessions, but ideally any significant change would usually occur over 12 weeks . One session per week would be recommended and of course there is some “homework” for other days .

As your confidence improves you may like to graduate and progress to regular CrossFit group sessions.

How Much does it cost? A single one hour individual coaching session is $100. A Four session bundle costs $380. A Twelve session bundle costs $1140.
